Two journeys. One island. A beginning.
Linda and Etienne left home separately at 18. Their paths met in a coworking space on Koh Tao.
Linda left Munich at 18. Etienne left home in France at the same age. They did not know each other then. DigiTao came later, after their paths crossed on Koh Tao.
Separate beginnings
The starting point is simple: two people leaving home, at the same age, from different places. The details of those separate journeys belong to Linda and Etienne. Their own accounts will have a place here when they are ready to share them.
The same island
In early 2026, Linda and Etienne met in a coworking space on Koh Tao, Thailand. That meeting is the beginning of their shared story and the connection to the place behind DigiTao.
The project brings together destinations, personal stories, practical reading and tools for people considering life abroad. Koh Tao is part of its origin. The journal will make room for the everyday side of that life as well as the places themselves.
Room for a home base
Linda is now building a base in Lisbon. A home base and a life that includes travel can exist together. Portugal is another part of the project as it takes shape.
For now, these are the facts behind the beginning. Future stories will come from the people who lived them, with room for their own words and photographs.
